On-Site Product Installation & Training

Industrial Equipment is only useful if properly installed and operated.  That's why IDI provides on-site installation & training services on everything that we sell.  We offer a standard pricing structure, with a task list (see sample training checklist) which is tailor-fit to your site's specific needs.  Our service rates are inclusive of  travel fees incurred by our staff members and therefore become more economical for multi-day services.  

ID Integration also offers additional follow-up, advanced training classes. Advanced label/template  creation, design and programming is covered along with additional training on marking & verification system operation and IUID compliancy. We have found that many users benefit from the chance to gain a working familiarity with hardware and software prior to extending their knowledge via more advanced formal classroom instruction. Similar training rates would apply for these classes.

Template Design

Every Marking System utilizes a template file to define the physical layout of the mark to be created.  Systems with MS Windows printer drivers can utilize nearly any MS Windows application to create the geometric design layout file.   But when barcodes are present on the design, a specialized software application is generally used.  For numerous reasons, ID Integration recommends usage of Seagull Scientific's Bartender software for most Windows printer driver systems.

For Dot Peen or Industrial Inkjet systems, which generally are NOT supported by Windows printer drivers, ID Integration provides template file design services that utilize our hands-on knowledge of the various proprietary command languages required.   Currently, IDI provides template design services for the following manufacturers:

There are a 3rd group of hardware types that are controlled with vendor-supplied Windows software applications, yet they do NOT operate with standard Windows printer drivers.  Examples include YAG-lasers, and some dot peen markers.  For such proprietary software solutions, ID Integration can provide either standard template file design services, OR we offer our own middleware software to provide easier integration of such systems with common ERP host systems.
